Marketing for Local Organist in East Sussex

This was one of the first side projects I tried my hand at after I started as an Online Marketing Executive at Sokada. My dad plays the organ at local churches in Ticehurst and Ewhurst, playing at Sunday services as well as Weddings and Funerals.

I found that there was surprisingly very little in the way of competition online for Organists in East Sussex, so putting together a rather simple website targeting the main keywords people were searching for.

The website is currently still ranking (Nov, 2022) on the first page of Google for all of these search terms, and he has received extra business from his website.

We could go further in posting regular blogs and other material to help Google crawl more often, however, there isn’t a real need to work much harder to stay at the top of the organic rankings.

Since working on this website, it’s interesting to see paid ads appearing at the top of the search terms listed above.
