Why Do I Send Christmas Cards?
Quite simply, because I enjoy it. I like the feeling of getting a Christmas card myself, so it definitely feels good to know that sending them out will bring just as much joy (hopefully) to other people.
You see, I think that whilst technology has improved our lives in so many different dimensions. But some things simply cannot be replicated digitally. Christmas cards are certainly one of them. You can’t simply email or send an ‘E-Card’ that will fulfil the same meaning as a Christmas card can you?
It’s for this reason that it’s one of those simple things I like to do that makes people feel good. So even though the Christmas card might be getting lost, I’m still going to send them out. Just be sure to recycle your Christmas cards to cut down on waste! If you get a Christmas card from me this year, I certainly hope you enjoy it!
